Landshut (Bavarian: Landsad) is a town in Bavaria in the south-east of Germany, belonging to both Eastern and Southern Bavaria. Situated on the banks of the River Isar, Landshut is the capital of Lower Bavaria, one of the seven administrative regions of the Free State of Bavaria. It is also the seat of the surrounding district, and with a population of more than 60,000. Landshut is the largest city in Lower Bavaria, followed by Passau and Straubing, and Eastern Bavaria’s second biggest city.

Owing to its characteristic coat of arms, the town is also often called “City of the three Helmets” (German: Dreihelmenstadt). Furthermore, the town is popularly known for the Landshuter Hochzeit (Landshut Wedding), a full-tilt medieval festival.

LOVED NOISE Indoor Festival has proudly celebrated its 5th anniversary with three stages; the Mainstage, the Woodbox and the Red Room at the Sparkassen Arena – Messe Landshut. The hard-working Klangfeld team, also producers of other events such as Utopia Island and Lost in Sound, made sure that the 2017edition will crash any previous one. With a special focus on qualitative bookings, a quite versatile yet cutting-edge decor, the creative and conceptual work was mainly centralized on the location.

The venue, a huge complex that is set to become both a center for contemporary art and the foundation’s headquarters, was only midway through renovation when the festival started. A shell gutted of its former contents, it provided a one-time opportunity to enjoy music and art against a backdrop of raw, post-industrial chic.

During these blissful ten hours of pure madness and vibrant rhythms within an untypical location, some of the skillful artists such as Nills Hoffmann, Animal Trainer, Lovra, Bernd Berger, Marek Hemmann and many more, were blasting their most striking tracks, continuing to impress an unrestingly eclectic audience.

As time went by, and artists like Alex Bau and Felix Krocher have been alternating on the decks to finally give it up to our Florian Munkt for an epic closing set at the Red Room.  The set of Florian Munkt has been recorded and you can check it out on our official Soundcloud channel, where you can download it for free. Unpredictable, wild and vigorous, that’s how we describe Florian’s misty LOVED NOISE set.
